Huge Kid's Consignment Sale in Fredericksburg

If you love/want/need to save money on kids' clothes, I've got an awesome consignment sale for you to check out!

Weecycled Wardrobe is a huge kid's consignment sale, that has been voted "Fredericksburg's Best Place to Buy Second Hand Children's Clothing" for two years in a row!  If you have ever shopped this sale, it's easy to see why!  First of all, when I say it's huge, I mean it's huge enough that now they have the sale (one in the spring and one in the fall) at the Fredericksburg Expo Center!  I started shopping this sale about 4 years ago when it was at the Fredericksburg Field House - and I thought it was big then!  They are now the biggest children's consignment sale in Virginia with over 90,000 items consigned every season!  They have everything you need from baby gear, strollers, cribs, bedding, furniture to tons of toys, shoes, and lots and lots of clothes for babies all the way up to teens and maternity!  All items are checked in to make sure it's of good quality, so you don't have to worry about sorting through things that are dirty, too worn, or outdated.  And to top it all off, the owners and volunteers are always so helpful and friendly!

My personal tips to get the most out of your Weecycled experience:

• Volunteer!  Volunteers get to shop early - before the public and before consigners!  And all you need to give is 3 hours of your time, although they'll gladly take more ;)  Plus, you get a sneak peak at what's available!
• Consign!  Clean out your closets and those tubs in your basement and get 55% of your sales back!  Consigners also get to shop early!
• Bring a wagon, stroller, something to haul all of your bargains around in, because trust me, you'll be there for a while :)
• Leave the kiddos at home!  Not only does it get a bit crowded if you shop on the first day, but for me, it's hard to shop and make sure my kiddos aren't running away or knocking things down.
• Do your Christmas shopping here!  Seriously, the amount of toys is amazing, so you'll be sure to find plenty to hide away until Christmas.
• Shop early!  Just like any other good sale, the earlier you shop, the better selection you have!

Weecycled does host two sales in the spring and two in the fall; the Fredericksburg sale is the biggest, and the North Stafford sale is more low-key, but still has tons of great stuff (I've shopped both!).  Here are the dates for the Spring Sales:
